Since 2003, Bodegas Vetus has been dedicated to preserving the authentic spirit of Toro while embracing new concepts and subtleties.

In that inaugural year, the Antón family, leading Artevino FW and recognising the appellation’s potential, made the first Vetus from carefully selected vineyards in the area. The wine was created to capture the purest essence of Toro while exploring fresh nuances and concepts.

The wine’s success inspired the acquisition of an estate at the heart of the appellation, where a modern winery was built and inaugurated in 2008.

This passion for exploring new territories led us to Rueda, a vast land of contrasts and great wines. Here, in the highlands of Segovia, our Verdejo grows among historic vineyards with poor soils and an enduring winemaking heritage, in the oldest appellation of Castilla y León.

Today, through the convergence of these two territories, we continue our commitment to innovation and tradition, always honouring the best of both appellations.
