In a small, almost century-old plot, with old vineyards and low yields, Celsus was born, a limited edition of a wine that is only made in vintages of extraordinary quality.

Vineyard:

Very old plot called Camparrón planted in Morales de Toro before Filoxera.

Grape varieties:

92,5% Tinta de Toro and 7,5% Garnacha

Elaboration:

Alcoholic fermentation in 3.000 litres vats.
Malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrels.

Aging:

14 months in new French oak barrels (Darnajou and Taransaud)

Tasting notes:

Deep, dark garnet red with dark legs. Strawberries, blackcurrants and cherries to prunes, chocolate and tobacco. In the mouth we find a well structured and perfectly balanced wine with an exquisite after taste, ripen tannins and a good acidity rate.
